MyArea Network is a rapidly growing digital media marketing company providing advertising and technology solutions for small businesses. MyArea Network owns and operates a network of local area websites in multiple regions in the US. All of these locations are based on area code, including 813area.com (Tampa), 727area.com (St Petersburg), 407area.com (Orlando), and 512area.com (Austin). We are currently seeking for individuals that are highly motivated and have a passion for event photography.

Photographers will have the opportunity to do photos in various events ranging from large nightclubs, concerts and festivals to smaller bars, charity and family friendly events. Doing Photos for MyArea Network give you the opportunity to gain exposure to a large audience as well make many connections and networking to jump start your career as a professional photographer.

Responsibilities

• Photographers are to take high quality photos at the event he or she is assigned to. This will range from getting posed photos of people at the event, to taking marketing photos show casing the event.

• Photographers are to be outgoing and engaging with the people at the event he or she is doing photos at by driving people to the site to view their photos.

• When ever a photographer is shooting a new location that is not a current client then he or she should speak with someone in management and get a contact to call back.

• Photographers are expected to work on improving the quality of their photos by spending time practicing out side of scheduled events, watching tutorial, or receiving training from other professional photographers on staff.

• After an event has been covered, Photographers are required to post develop their photos and have them uploaded to the corresponding site within 12 hours of shooting the event

• Photographers must have a completed photographer page on 813area.com in order for you to get credentials for the event that you shot.
  
  

Requirements

• Must have your own DSLR Camera with external flash

• Experience in event photography is preferred but not required

• Excellent time management and organizational skills

• Ambitious and outgoing personality

• Must have access to a computer with photography editing software

• Reliable source of transportation
