Predict and Win, it's a Sweet Sixteen Reset

Things to consider when choosing your Sweet Sixteen teams:

EAST REGION
Suddenly, the Florida Gators have a much better chance to reach the Final Four… no Villanova and no Duke to knock them off.  Sure, the Gators still have a tough road.  8th-seeded Wisconsin has confidence galore after beating ‘Nova, but I still think the Gators have more talent.  Then, they’ll take care of Baylor, which will burst South Carolina’s bubble.  Florida in the Final Four.

WEST REGION
Now, things become a little more predictable.  Lots of brackets didn’t even have top-seeded Gonzaga making it to the round of 16.  I like them to handle West Virginia in a close, tough basketball game.  But it won’t matter because they’ll have to play 2nd-seeded Arizona.  I had the Wildcats making the Final Four originally, and I won’t change now.  Arizona in the Final Four.

MIDWEST REGION
Of all 16 teams left, top-seeded Kansas has the second-best look of a champion.  Frank Mason and Josh Jackson could be the best duo left standing.  The Jayhawks will beat Purdue, and then get to face Cinderella Michigan, the best story of the tournament.  The Wolverines are flying ever since their team plane couldn’t, and ran off the runway on their way to the Big Ten Tournament.  Michigan will beat Oregon, but then fall to superior Kansas.  Kansas in the Final Four.

SOUTH REGION
Here’s the only region with the top 4 seeds still alive.  And surprisingly, top-seeded North Carolina is the only ACC team left standing.  The Tar Heels should eliminate Butler, and face the winner of the most anticipated game of the Tournament  so far… 2nd-seed Kentucky and 3rd-seed UCLA.  Between, those schools have 19 national championships.  I picked UCLA to win it all when the brackets were announced, and I won’t change now.  The Bruins will take care of Kentucky, in what may be a 200-point region semi-final. Then, UCLA over North Carolina.  UCLA in the Final Four.

Arizona over Florida in one national semi-final.  UCLA over Kansas in the other.

And UCLA to win the National Championship.
