GameTime

This is the first online review I have ever posted. This weekend, I took my two sons to Gametime. The first game we played was a Spinning Wheel. My son hits the 1,000 and lights go off and the machine starts making noises. He was super excited. Since no tickets spit out, we asked the guy working the front what to do. He said the tickets would show up on our card and he congratulated him. We played for another hour or so. When we left, my son wanted to redeem the tickets so he brought the card to the counter. We were told there were 167 tickets on the card. I said we were missing the 1000. The young man working that counter said to me "That machine screws up all the time." So the manager and what appeared to be an engineer took my card went to the machine then went to the front. HE came back to me and told me that I had "made a mistake. I had hit the 10 which is right next to the 1000." I told him there was no mistake and not only did his employee verify it, but that we were told it would be on the card. He then said "Lights would have went off and noises would be made." My 7 year old kid almost came out of his skin. "The lights DID go off. The alarm did too!" This guy was c

Cons: Terrible customer service.

A fun and unique place to stop during a night out in Ybor! The bartender and the rest of the staff made it a memorable experience.

LOVE this establishment in Ybor - clean, fun, great food, strong drinks and they let you in free for big events like fight nights!

Pros: The restaurant! You can do it all here - play, eat, drink, win goofy prizes, it makes you feel like a kid again, a kid who can have adult beverages :-)

Great Thursday deals for games and happy hours are always a plus!

I had a blast last night! 5 hours of arcade games for just $10 bucks! I got there early and enjoyed the Happy Hour too! Definitely going back.

Pros: Drinks, Thursday $10 deal, So many arcade games.

Cons: I thought parking was going to be lousy, but on a Thursday it wasn't too bad!

My first assumption was that this was a place to take your kids. While it offers great games and prizes for kids, it also offers a lot of fun for the "big kid" in you. The set up is great with a lounge bar that offers pool tables and TVs, a restaurant for great dining, and the main game area.

Pros: Great location in Centro Ybor, interactive games provide hours of fun, the prizes include "big kid" prizes, nice bar area with pool tables.

This place is amazing! I was in town visiting some friends and went to GameTime to watch a UFC fight. I ended up having to go again to play the games. GameTime is a Great Time!

Pros: So many cool games. Great bar and plenty of screens for the fights.

Games are great for kids and kids at heart, and the bar and UFC fights are perfect for the adults in the room.

Great place to drink, eat, bring the whole family, and destroy at arcade games

On a Sunday, I took my four year old here after he earned it. We make it to the station where you recharge your card, and only then were we informed that "everything was down". No one apologized. I asked why they even let us in, why its unlocked, as they may be "open", but they got his hopes up all the way TO the machines. He's been heartbroken since because it was his favorite place on earth (he loves Wreck It Ralph, etc). By the Wednesday afterwards. No apologies have come from corporate. No offers to make it right. No suggestion on how this can be made better for the child who now makes me take an alternate route home from VPK so he doesn't have to see "the bullies" at Gametime. I entered with the intention of paying for his birthday party that day. The word from the lady in corporate about it all? Basically, she said that it's my job to get him to trust THEM again, and then, and I'm quoting "we promise the same level of service for your child as the previous visit."Uh... WHAT? No apologies, and a promise that it'll happen again? Avoid this place like the plague. They broke a kids heart, don't care, and are being smug about it. If that sounds like your idea of a good time?

Pros: Uh, it took four visits to find out that they hate kids, so... maybe if you only go once, they'll fool you too!

Cons: Literally everything.

Great place to have a party or a few beers. Tons of games and always a ton of fun.

SO much fun. New location in Ocoee is awesome.

Perfect for ALL ages!

Great place to play games, go out with the family, or bring a date to. They have excellent drink and food choices as well. SO much fun for everyone
