One of the main attractions of Ybor City's beloved Guavaween Festival is the live music pumping from the huge stages throughout the festival.  Throughout the years, Guavaween has brought a wide array of local favorites and national acts to the two stages that line the festival.

Update: The live music line up for Guavaween 2011 will include alternative rock outfit, Eve 6 in the headlining spot with support from Tonic, as well as local acts Scilter, and Coo Coo Ca Choo.  Eve 6 is best known for their late 90's style of catchy, punk-influenced rock with hit songs like "Here's to the Night" and "Inside Out".  Supporting act, Tonic hit it big with their 1997 single "If You Could Only See" and play a style of alternative rock perfect for the rock-friendly vibe Guavaween's had for the past few years.

Every genre from hard rock to electronica, country and everything between has graced the stages at Guavaween over its 20+ year existence with a heavy emphasis on rock over the past few years.  Last year, the concert line up graced Guavaween's stages including Genitorturers, Saving Abel, We Are The Fallen, Through You, Fuel, Hail the Villian and Dirty Black Halo.  Other Guavaween bands have including Puddle of Mudd, Sevendust, Nonpoint and more.  The 2011 Guavaween concert is sure to have a line up that'll be as good or better than last years.

A ton of Ybor City bars will also open their doors and feature an array of live music at Guavaween 2011 as well.

The event is a fundraiser event for the Ybor Chamber of Commerce. Tickets are $12 in advance and can be purchased at the official Guavaween tickets page.
