Data Analyst

MyArea Network is seeking a Data Analyst to support our data services that powers both internal and customer facing reporting solutions. Analysis and reporting includes marketing data, sales data, labor analysis and market research.  This role also includes working with the product team on establishing data automation rules, benchmarks and triggers.

Responsibilities:

• Key role for the go-to-market team. Works collaboratively with Sales, Product Development, Marketing and our Customer Success teams.
• Conduct data audits on 1st party and 3rd party data systems
• Analyze consumer behaviour data to establish business rule sets and automations
• Implement and conduct Quality Assurance checks to ensure data accuracy
• Develop and enhance Reporting for Marketing, Sales and Operational data
• Filter Data by reviewing reports and performance indicators to identify and correct code problems
• Analyzing local, national, and global trends that impact the organization, our customers and the industry
• Preparing reports for the management stating trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data
• Working with programmers, engineers, and management heads to identify process improvement opportunities, propose system modifications, and devise data governance

Requirements:

• Cleansing and preparing data 
• Analyzing and visualizing data
• Communication and writing
• Expertise in Marketing and/or the Hspitality industry
• Expertise in Excel, Google Sheets and data management
• Exerience in MySQL and/or SQL
• Experience with Data visualization software
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathmatics/Statistics, or a technical discipline; MBA desirable
• 2-3 years direct experience in data analysis
